  • Silver Swans is a programme designed for adult learners and is a wonderful blend of classical ballet and gentle fitness.

  • Based on the technique of ballet it encompasses the human need to move and express oneself through dance. 


If you are looking for a new way to keep fit & active our ballet classes will put a spring in your step. If you have never danced before or wish to get back into the swing of it, our classes have something for everyone.

Zoe is a licensed RAD Silver Swans teacher, alongside her Classical Ballet Teachers' qualification. She wishes to bring movement to all. An experienced dance teacher with a genuine passion for ballet, Zoe is specifically trained to modify ballet technique for older adults. Whilst Silver Swans classes are specially targeted at older learners, there's no upper or lower age limit - our classes are inclusive for all learners!

The Royal Academy of Dance developed Silver Swans as a pilot project in response to a growing demand for ballet classes for older learners.

The RAD developed this programme based on research into dance practice for older learners - classes are only taught by Silver Swans Licensees.

What to wear:

  • Comfortable leisure/sportswear/layers

  • Feel free to have bare feet or grip socks.
    You may also wear ballet/jazz shoes.

Just yourselves and a bottle of water.
