Reformer Classes

Reformer Pilates provides a full body workout with high intensity and low impact. It increases muscle strength, flexibility and improves your overall posture, alignment and functional movement. Our classes aim to compliment your regular fitness activities, creating body awareness and maintenance. The Reformer Pilates system is quite unique as it is a whole body system, which uses the core principals of Concentration, Alignment, Breathing and Core Connection.

What you'll need to do

Access to Online Classes is via Zoom app.

Zoom is a leading software that will allow us to demonstrate to you online via your mobile phones, laptops or tablets.

You will need to download the Zoom app if you have not already got this. From experience, I would advise downloading the app a couple of days before the class, so you have it ready to go. You can download the app from the link below.

Absolute Beginners/New to Pilates

Our Foundations class is open to everyone. We focus on fundamental Pilates principal, functional movement and refining technique. We offer modifications as regressions and progressions, a class suitable for all.

-This class is suitable for prenatal clients in their first and second trimesters.

For those who have a very good grasp of the basics (so not for Absolute Beginners) and want to be challenged with exercises. At this point the focus is on increasing core strength, stamina and attempting more complex patterns of movement for those who are ready and able. Many clients will remain at this level and feel huge benefits from regular classes. A dynamic class to take your reformer practice to the next level.

-This class is suitable for prenatal clients in their first and second trimesters.

For those clients who are ready for even more challenging exercises for the core and co-ordination. A faster paced class, working towards increasing stamina as well as flexibility and strength. The aim is for movement to become more flowing and dynamic so the body becomes evenly strengthened and toned. Clients must have the ability to know their own bodies and how far to push themselves. For this class, it is essential to have a complete grasp of Pilates, correct technique/form and a good understanding of the correct use of breathing.

Please note: You should consult your GP/physician or other health care professional before starting exercise classes or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs
